Enabling/Disabling the Gesture Pads

You can enable/disable the gesture pads in accordance with your intended use. This setting will be applied to all profiles.

You can enable/disable the gesture pads in the following ways:

Switching temporarily with key operation

You can enable/disable the four gesture pads respectively by operating the keys. The settings are not saved to the keyboard. Turning the power off then on again will restore the settings to those set by the DIP switch or Keymap Tool.

By default, no key operation is assigned to enable/disable the gesture pads. To use this function, you will need to assign the operation to any key using Keymap Tool.

When the gesture pads are switched to be enabled/disabled, the LED indicator status changes according to the gesture pad settings.

Each LED indicator light from the left shows the setting status of the gesture pad on the left side, front left side, front right side, and right side, respectively.

Example of LED Status When the Gesture Pad on the Left Side Is Enabled
  • Enabled: lights up once in white

  • Disabled: turns off

The figure above shows an example of the LED indicator when only the gesture pad on the left side is enabled and the others are disabled.
